A few weeks ago I watched a documentary about the Concorde aeroplane and it made me think about the way we "personalize" large inanimate objects and we project our hopes, interests and concerns even onto them. And if these have had a traumatic end - just as if they were star artists who died young - even more so.
Hace un par de semanas vi un documental sobre el avión Concorde y me hizo pensar en la forma en que "personalizamos" grandes objetos inanimados, y proyectamos incluso sobre ellos nuestras esperanzas, intereses e inquietudes. Y si éstos han tenido un fin traumático - como si fueran artistas estrella que murieran jóvenes - aún más.
Fa un parell de setmanes vaig veure un documental sobre l'avió Concorde i em va fer pensar en la manera en com "personalitzem" grans objectes inanimats, i projectem fins i tot sobre ells les nostres esperances, interessos i inquietuds. I si aquests han tingut una fi traumàtica - com si fossin artistes estrella que moriren joves - encara més.
