 Here we go! I try again to participate in the Inktober this year, but with simpler and (above all!) small illustrations.

 Now that I'm finishing reading 'A dance with dragons', from the 'A song of ice and fire' saga by George R. R. Martin, here is a small gallery of characters that didn't appear in the TV show 'Game of Thrones', but would have been cool to see them (attention, SPOILERS ahead!): from top to bottom, the brutal Lord Captain of the Iron Fleet, Victarion Greyjoy, the Lady from Winterfell, Catelyn Stark, converted into the fearsome Lady Stoneheart, and the Young Griff, aka Aegon VI Targaryen (and although he appears a little, it's interesting because he is the opposition to Daenerys for the title of 'the last Dragon Monarch', not to mention that he is perhaps the third 'head of the dragon' of the prophecy next to her and Jon Snow). 

 Ahora que ya estoy terminando de leer 'Danza de dragones', de la saga 'Canción de Hielo y Fuego' por George R. R. Martin, aquí va una pequeña galería de personajes que no salieron en la serie de TV 'Juego de Tronos', pero que hubiera molado muy verlos (¡atención, a partir de aquí SPOILERS a saco!): de arriba a abajo, el brutal Lord Capitán de la Flota de Hierro, Victarion Greyjoy, la Señora de Invernalia, Catelyn Stark, reconvertida en la temible Lady Corazón de Piedra, y el Joven Grifo, aka Aegon VI Targaryen (y aunque aparezca poco, es interesante por ser él la oposición a Daenerys por el título de 'el último Soberano Dragón', por no hablar de que quizá sea 'la tercera cabeza del dragón 'de la profecía junto a ella y Jon Nieve).

 Ara que ja estic acabant de llegir 'Dansa amb dracs', de la saga 'Cançó de Gel i Foc' per George R. R. Martin, aquí va una petita galeria de personatges que no sortiren a la sèrie de TV 'Joc de Trons', però que hagués molat molt veure'ls (atenció, a partir d'aquí SPOILERS a sac!): de dalt cap abaix, el brutal Lord Capità de la Flota de Ferro, Victarion Greyjoy, la Senyora d'Hivernia, Catelyn Stark, reconvertida en la temible Lady Cor de Pedra, i el Jove Griu, aka Aegon VI Targaryen (i encara que aparegui poc, és intresant per ser ell l'oposició a Daenerys pel títol de 'l'últim Sobirà Drac', per no parlar que potser sigui 'el tercer cap del drac' de la profecia, junt a ella i en Jon Neu).

 Long before the absolute dominion of the monotheistic God, the divinity with a more long-lived and successful cult was a goddess born on the Land Between the Two Rivers, Mesopotamia. Known as Inanna in the ancient Sumer, Ishtar in Babylon and Astarte in Canaan, she was the goddess of Love and War, Queen of Sky and Sovereign of Earth.

 Mucho antes del dominio absoluto del Dios monoteísta, la divinidad con un culto más longevo y exitoso fue una diosa nacida en la Tierra entre los Dos Ríos, Mesopotamia. Conocida como Inanna en la antigua Sumer, Ishtar en Babilonia y Astarté en Canaán, fue diosa del Amor y la Guerra, Reina del Cielo y Soberana de la Tierra. 

 Molt abans del domini absolut del Déu monoteista, la divinitat amb un culte més longeu i exitós fou una deessa nascuda a la Terra entre els Dos Rius, Mesopotàmia. Coneguda com a Inanna a l'antiga Sumer, Ishtar a Babilònia i Astarté a Canaan, va ser deessa de l'Amor i la Guerra, Reina del Cel i Sobirana de la Terra. 

 

'We're here!'

 Everyone knows the 'Gremlins' movies, but originally they were totally different, being one of the few cases of contemporany folklore. During the World War I, for the Allied combatants, especially the plane pilots, the Gremlins were the malevolent causatives of those small and sudden accidents of the airplanes -and other vehicles- engines that didn't seem to have any explanation, as well as the culprits also of the mysterious disappearance of parts from the machinery. In addition, they were also supposed to had an addictive thirst for fuel, which made them especially dangerous. They used to be described as typical goblins, dressed in brightly colored costumes, but with animal features, such as rabbit or dog, and bird or winged feet.

 Todo el mundo conoce las películas de los 'Gremlins', pero originalmente eran muy diferentes, siendo uno de los pocos casos de folclore contemporáneo. Durante la 1ª Guerra Mundial, para los combatientes Aliados, especialmente los pilotos de avión, los Gremlins eran los malévolos causantes de aquellos pequeños y repentinos accidentes de los motores de los aviones, y otros vehículos, que no parecían tener ninguna explicación, además de ser los culpables también de la desaparición misteriosa de piezas de la maquinaria. Además, también se les suponía una sed adictiva por el combustible, lo que les hacía especialmente peligrosos. Se les solía describir como los típicos duendes, con vestidos de colores vivos, pero con rasgos animalescos, como de conejo y perro, y con pies alados o de pájaro.

 Tothom coneix les pel·lícules dels 'Gremlins', però originalment eren molt diferents, sent un dels pocs casos de folklore contemporani. Durant la 1ª Guerra Mundial, per als combatents Aliats, especialment els pilots d'avió, els Gremlins eren els malèvols causants d'aquells petits i sobtats accidents dels motors dels avions, i d'altres vehicles, que no semblaven tenir cap explicació, a més de ser els culpables també de la desaparició misteriosa de peces de la maquinària. A més, també se'ls hi suposava una set adictiva per el combustible, cosa que els feia especialment perillosos. Se'ls solia descriure com als típics follets, amb vestits de colors vius, però amb trets animalescos, com de conill i gos, i amb peus alats o d'ocell.
