I know it's not a very optimistic illustration, but I wanted to draw the End of Times quartet, just as they appeared to Saint John the Evangelist almost 2000 years ago. Thus, they are:
- The White Horse: the Victory or the Conqueror, with his crown, his bow and accompanied by an angel. It's usually given the meaning of a Pestilence or great plague that will 'conquer' the whole world, or the new heretical religion of the false prophet that will prepare the coming of the Antichrist.
- The Red Horse: The War, carrying his great sword.
- The Black Horse: The Famine, counting wheat grains with his scale.
- The Green Pale Horse: The last horseman, the Death, followed by Hell.
Sé que no es una ilustración muy optimista, pero me apetecía dibujar al cuarteto del Fin de los Tiempos, tal y como se le aparecieron a San Juan Evangelista hará casi 2000 años atrás. De este modo, ellos son:
- El Caballo Blanco: La Victoria o el Conquistador, con su corona, su arco y acompañado de un ángel. Se suele darle el significado de una Pestilencia o gran plaga que 'conquistará' todo el mundo, o a la nueva religión herética del falso profeta que preparará la venida del Anticristo.
- El Caballo Rojo: La Guerra, portando su gran espada.
- El Caballo Negro: El Hambre, contando granos de trigo con su balanza.
- El Caballo Bayo: El último jinete, la Muerte, seguida por el Infierno.
Sé que no és una il·lustració molt optimista, però em venia de gust dibuixar el quartet de la Fi dels Temps, tal com se li van aparèixer a Sant Joan Evangelista farà gairebé 2000 anys enrere. D'aquesta manera, ells són:

It may not be the best story to recommend in a confinement, but the tale about a man called Gregor Samsa, who woke up one day turned into a giant beetle, told in 'The Metamorphosis' by the Czech writer Franz Kafka (1883-1924), has always been one of my favorite books. 
Quizás no es la mejor historia para recomendar en un confinamiento, pero el relato de un hombre llamado Gregor Samsa que, un buen día, se despertó convertido en un escarabajo gigante narrado en 'La Metamorfosis', por el escritor checo Franz Kafka (1883-1924), siempre ha sido uno de mis libros favoritos.
Potser no és la millor història per a recomanar en un confinament, però el relat d'un home anomenat Gregor Samsa que, un bon dia, es despertà convertit en un escarabat gegant narrat a 'La Metamorfosi', per l'escriptor txec Franz Kafka (1883-1924), sempre ha estat un dels meus llibres preferits.
